A film : James Cameron's “Avatar”. I was stunned and enthralled by this adventure, although I’m not a fan of science fiction.
An unusual career path!
An engineer by training, I worked as an operating room manager in a polyclinic and as a production director for a cosmetics company.
I chose to become a vegetable grower when I was turning 40, even though I had never done anything like it. I wanted to work for myself in a profession linked to the plant that has always interested me. I was interested in the level of risk-taking, strategic choices, social, financial and agricultural management of the company... Savéol made it easy for me to discover an entirely new world.
I was accepted, mentored and supported in my project by my grower colleagues and by the cooperative teams. I learned the profession on the ground with the help of a grower friend, while remaining proactive and cultivating my desire to succeed. Today, I am continuing what I began while developing my business at my own pace. This professional choice has changed my life, and I have the whole future ahead of me!
