Cerise rubis surprise

Ingrédients
- 25 Savéol Ruby cherry tomatoes
- 100g icing sugar
- 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- Sesame
- Mustard
- Poppy seeds or coarsely chopped pistachios
- 25 toothpicks
- Greaseproof paper
Process
- Rinse, remove the stalk and wipe the Ruby cherry tomatoes.
- Insert a stick into each tomato, if possible where the stalk was.
- Moisten the sugar with the vinegar and cook over a high heat in a small saucepan that is deep enough to cover the tomatoes.
- Cook the caramel for about 5 minutes.
- As soon as it starts to colour, immerse the tomatoes in it, one after the other so that they are covered.
- Dry them on a piece of greaseproof paper, preferably sprinkled with sesame, mustard, or poppy seeds or coarsely chopped pistachios.
